Wright Animal Hospital has been on the leading edge of providing superior referral services for veterinary oncology. Our ultimate goal is to maintain the quality of life to the best of our ability while treating pets with cancer.

Our facility is equipped with the latest on-site technology and our capabilities include:

We provide communication and follow-up to referring vets allowing the primary care veterinarian to play an active role in their patient's health management. We also always send your clients back to you for general veterinary care.

About Kristin Junkas, DVM — Veterinary Oncologist

Dr. Junkas is a board-qualified veterinarian who understands the importance of supporting fellow colleagues in offering treatment for pets with cancer. She offers a unique place to receive guidance, additional diagnostic evaluation, and up-to-date treatment for these complex diseases while communicating regularly with the referring veterinarian.

In conjunction with cancer therapy, Dr. Junkas obtained training in endoscopyultrasonography, and surgical laser techniques to provide more advanced diagnostic capabilities for pets. She is aware of the important bond that pets have with their human companions and strives to communicate and include the owner and referring veterinarian with all aspects of treatment.

Her staff has over 30 years of combined experience in chemotherapeutic treatment and is prepared to offer a comforting atmosphere for the pets to receive care. In addition, Dr. Junkas participates in ongoing research protocols and regularly attends specialty meetings to provide new innovative therapies as they become available. Read Dr. Junkas' full bio here.
